“The YGPL is a perfect opportunity for me as a coach to get together with my team once a week during the summer to work on our passing game—both offense and defense.  Our kids competed and had a blast.  We are definitely in again this year!”  7th grade coach

The YGPL is the premier 7 on 7 passing league in the Denver metro area, and has four divisions of play this summer: to be 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.  Ateach level, we desire to create an atmosphere that is both competitive and instructional.  The main goal of the YGPL is to increase the knowledge and skills of the passing game in our Jr High level coaches and players.  Teams play in an organized noncontact league that mirrors the rules of high school 7 on 7 competitions.  The league stresses sportsmanship and equal playing time while emphasizing coaching and learning.   7 on 7 is a competitive “passing only” game where each team has 7 players on the field.  The offense is comprised of a QB, RB’s, WR’s and a center.  Defensive group has LB’s and DB’s.  Note—Lineman CAN play because there are no weight limits!!  The game is played on a 45 yard field and is a noncontact (one hand touch) game of skill, timing, and accuracy.Sign up now and play a fun game that will undoubtedly improve your knowledge and skills.  Field goals and long snaps are also incorporated in the scoring, so another very important part of the game (the kicking game) is now an area of emphasis at the youth level.  Go to the “rules” link above for more details and get ready to have a blast playing football this summer!!
